O/H has the P30 Pro. the camera zoom is much better, as is the wide angle lens.

My contract ended June 19 (12 month business contract) and tbh, ive stuck with the p20 pro - first time ever ive not just upgraded. whats the point? the battery is still great, no issues whatsoever so I cant find a reason to upgrade. Im currently paying EE £22 a month for 60GB data, even if I went fot the P30 pro it would be like £50 a month. I just dont think its that much better to be worth the extra £28 a month just for the camera. Besides, with the P30 pro's curved screen and narrower form factor, it doesnt sit in the hand as well. for now I will keep the p20 pro.

I'm due an upgrade in May and I think I'll not bother either - First time I've ever considered that. I was thinking about a P30 Pro, but an upgrade just for a better camera which has only a few better features (I'll rarely use the Zoom) and the curved screen (that I know I'll hate) don't appeal. I feel like I'm almost max phone... That said, I just wish it had an SD slot...

My contract ends in August, the natural progression would have been to the P40 Pro but with the google/app issue I'm not sure what to do.

The P30 Pro probably won't be worth the extra cost and looking at the latest Samsung phones the monthly costs are crazy compared to my £33 for 20GB that I never fully use.

Still a few months away of course but not sure where to turn, may just keep the P20 for a while.

I'm on the O2 90GB a month deal which works out at £26.50 a month after cashback.

Lots of us on the P30 Pro thread are in the same deal or the one from 3.

Can't go wrong.

I'm exactly the same, although my contract ends in August so who knows what will be out then, but Samsung are very expensive, and I won't use any of the 'new' features at all, and I don't like their cartoon-ey overlay. Shame because looking on the same place I got my P20 Pro contract the Note 10 is the same monthlies as I pay now, but bar more pixels on the screen im not sure what extra I will get.

Maybe a Pixel if there's a new/nice one out by then? I'm not paying the monthly prices for a flagship as A - I can't really justify the cost and B - There isn't really a current flagship that makes me get the mega-want for it.

Otherwise I'll drop back onto a £10 3 30 day contract again and just keep my handset too.

Have a read here from my post on 31st January.

https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

Quite a few PH members are on this deal.

It's all above board despite seemingly being too good to be true.

I'm well pleased with mine.

I got a P30 Pro from MobilePhonesDirect a week ago - I went for the O2 90GB deal.

You pay £43 a month with no up-front (£1032 total). Go via TopCashBack and there's £44 cashback (mine has tracked and is pending). Huawei are then offering £120 cashback (can submit claims from 13th March), so down to £868 total. The staggered cashback from MPD knocks off another £396, so down it goes to £472 or £19.66 / month.

I was paying £10 a month for a 6GB O2 PAYG SIM for my Huawei Y6 (very slow and out of internal storage), so £9.60 a month extra for a top-tier phone seemed pretty good to me. You just need to put reminders in your calendar to claim the MPD cashback on the specified months.

Anyone had a screen replaced? Was a casualty of a trip to the pub when someone knocked it off a table....

It'll cost more than the phone is worth.
