How long did you have left on your contract and who are you with if you don't mind me asking?
I had just over 1 month left with EE. They didn’t deliver today as twilight out of stock but sending a black phone by tomorrow and upped my data to 20gb for same price.

Just walked into EE, I got the 20GB Max plan for 38 per month.

Free P20 Pro
Free Sports for the whole of the contract (dont get this if on essential plan)
I was pushing for either 33 a month or 30GB, but they wouldnt budge.

Now just need to find a way to get everything from my iphone onto the P20, plus waiting on the case and screen protector before I switch across completely.

Sounds a good deal.

I was told by the helpful lady at EE to download the Google Drive app to iPhone and backup your data to that.
When signing into the P20 you should be able to them download data to it from the app.

First impressions, very smooth and fast.
Camera is fantastic.

For anyone moving from an iPhone to P20, have you noticed any jerky scrolling? Just doesn't feel as smooth as the iPhone nor as quick to scroll on websites.

Secondly, can anyone recommend a decent email client? Ideally one which shows number notification on the icon like the IOS?

I'm not sure Apple to Android what's app transfer is all that simple. I believe you need to transfer using a third party app on a desktop device.

No jerkyness for me, if anything, the Huawei is smoother and much much faster but I went from an Iphone 6s. Bluemail is a very good IOS client, I use this for my own company email. I use Inbox for Gmail and Outlook for my job which has an Office365 subscription. Bluemail would handle them all though but I prefer to keep them seperate. All show notifications on receipt of new mail, both on the phone and on my Ticwatch.

It comes with its own app which you install on your previous phone and it handles everything.

App transfer from ios to android might not be smooth though.

Where is this screen?

Im wary about a few of my apps as if they break Im effectively screwed, things like my overseas banking and transfer apps.

Thanks. Good shout on Bluemail, looks great.

Is it smooth when viewing pictures using the standard gallery? Here's what I'm experiencing. Flickr is smooth but navigating through some apps shows a little lag.

I'm moving from an iPhone to Android so will be interesting. Is the best way to set up the phone using this Nova Launcher app??

Any other set up/android tips?

When you have it working, give me a shout, Im worried about losing my financial apps that I cant afford for them to stop working for a few weeks whilst I work it out.

You won't be able to move the apps (from the apple store), but I'd take note of what you have and make sure you've got login details, etc.

Have you got a google play account yet? Set one up before you migrate as you'll be prompted to set one up - In addition, once the phone's up and running, you can then go online on to the Google Play store and "send" applications to your phone (you search, choose and then install to your device when it asks you where you want to send it - This will only work AFTER your account is associated to your phone.

More about the app or company having a hissy fit about 2 devices with the same details and maybe they think something is up and try and shut the account down or suspend it.

Ah I see.

Only one I have to report back on would be a banking app (natwest) & a share dealing (HL) one but i'll see how it goes.
