Does anyone know how I can fix this? The wire has been pulled out of the plug after it slipped of the wheel mount. If it’s a case of buying the plug and crimp tool where would I get such a thing?

Thanks.

Looks to be a RJ11 crimp end.

It looks as though there are 6 cables, so you need to get RJ11 6 pin crimps and a crimper, copy the cable layout and crimp the new crimps.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/CDL-Micro-Crimping-Crimps...

https://www.amazon.co.uk/PCSL%C2%AE-Connectors-Cri...

Or buy a pre-crimped 6pin RJ11 cable and hope for the best!

I've learnt something new...

RJ12 is standard 6 connectors. So you'll see RJ11 6P4C (6 pin, 4 connector). You also will see RJ11 6P6C, but that is better known as RJ12.

The physical size of the thing is the same, but RJ12 is 6P6C (usually?). Just make sure it's got 6 pins on it!

You're right, I didn't clock the offset.

Cheers guys.

Yeah forgot to mention it was offset.

I assume the same crimping tool will work with this one too?

No, most won't be wide enough, look here for some ones whos modified theirs: http://www.philohome.com/crimp/crimp.htm

I am looking for one, but they are all mental expensive.

Can you confirm if the pin layout is the same either end? It might be easier to find a made up cable already.

Cheers looks like I will be making my own as per those instructions.

Without taking the pedals apart I can only get one end.

Fortunately the colours are in the plug too so getting the corresponding pins should be easy

I’m just kicking myself as I normally unplug everything, but this lapse has caused some grief.
