Blimey - I thought recording boxes had been long resigned to fond memory along with DVD and VHS tapes!
???? You thought no-one recorded anything off the tele anymore??? Dr Doofenshmirtz said:
Correct. But then I guess if you have a rubbish internet connection it makes sense.
A decent internet connection doesn't make the film that you forgot to record last night appear on catch up. I've got just over 200meg broadband and that can't make them magically appear!Streaming is great, but it's nice to be able to get the other stuff that isn't on there.

If you have a Sky+ box you can buy a Freeway from sky card for £25 and get all the free channels.
But if you want the sky+ functionality they'll want £10 a month from you.

You don't need to pay anything for the free to air channels. Once the Sky subscription is ended, it automatically becomes a freesat box.But if you want the sky+ functionality they'll want £10 a month from you.

Yes, you'll lose the Sky+ ability to record without paying them. Which is why I got a Humax Freesat recorder.
