Tesco were advertising a Sharp 40" smart TV for £179. Crazy cheap.
I mentioned it to a couple of people and we agreed that they would be sold out/only had a few etc etc.
I just had to have a look just in case, first store I walked into they had about eight of them. I bought two ASAP. One for us and an early xmas present for my son.

Amazes me how much LCD TVs have come down in price recently.
A 65 inch 4K TV can be got for around £500 with a budget brand, and the likes of a Sharp for under £600 now...

ok so DACs are not headphone but I thought this might be a good place to ask.
I use a laptop with in a dock when at home and and the only think that is not on the dock is a headphone port i'm lasy this is one more thing to plug in so would people recommend a DAC and head phone or blue tooth headphones?
yep first world problems.
A friend of mine has one of these and loves it. TBH i've listened to it and the results are impressive.I use a laptop with in a dock when at home and and the only think that is not on the dock is a headphone port i'm lasy this is one more thing to plug in so would people recommend a DAC and head phone or blue tooth headphones?

Who needs 3Gb a day?!
My son! I don’t know how he does it, uses up his monthly 12gb of data in days. Must be downloading HD porn?I find I now don’t connect to a lot of WiFi networks as I get up to 300mb download and 45mb upload so it’s quicker than connecting to most places WiFi. I then also tether my iPad off my phone now rather than connect to WiFi if I’m away from home.

Similarly to you, i tether my laptop to my phone rather than looking for a hotspot.
I've 20GB per month but rarely break 12GB.

To be fair, I’m the same. Also, gone are the days of hunting for WiFi while on holiday in Europe, just use the roaming data which is usually quick enough.
Agreed. I used to pay the £2 or so per day when abroad not to have to bother looking for WiFi.I connect to wifi at home with the phone though, but it does it automatically so no hardship. Likewise where i work currently has a public wifi so i just let my phone connect there by default.
Otherwise, no, i dont go looking. As i said, it was more from the specific requirements of the son in question. Seems an awful lot of data...

My son! I don’t know how he does it, uses up his monthly 12gb of data in days. Must be downloading HD porn?YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, Netflix, etc... all burn through vast wedges of data. I recently checked on my unlimited data usage on my iPad and i get through roughly 160gb a month on average for the past 12mths, my iPhone is about 20gb a month and works iphone is about 12gb a month - quite a chunk, it surprised me!
But other than the WiFi at home I never even bother checking for a network, there’s no use and as others have said it’s often slower and less stable!
