Which Broadband?
Discussion
I think I'm going to be going with Plus.net, once BT connect my phone up (only just moved). Their Broadband plus looks perfect for me as, like you, I'm not a heavy user:
www.plus.net/residential/broadband/broadband_plus.shtml?link=resbb_pluslink
And at £15 for 2Mb, uncapped (as far as I can tell), looks a bargin They also get a good rating on ADSLGuide and a few PHers use them without complaint.

Take a look at Plus.net, I've just advised someone to go there as I'm with them already (very happy).
2Mb for £14.99 a month - 30Gb cap - more than enough!
Neil
Yeah, I think plus.net is clear winner for me.
Free activation now too!
So when you do, put me down as the person who refered you - each 50p helps! nbolton.plus.com I think are the details!

When I looked at this last night (albeit in a knackered state) it seemed to me there were a lot of expensive add ons to what seemed an attractive basic price
Will have another look tonight

I was with BT on a 512 connection for 2 years and had no problems really until they moved their call centre to India. Then it was just a nightmare if I needed support or just to talk about billing etc.
Too long to get through, it was like a maze trying to get to talk to a human.
So canned BT and went over to plus.net
What a difference, got a 2Mb connection at 21.99, unlimited d/l. Their website is great where you can easily access everything about your account, check speed, see your usage etc.
Their contact number has 2 choices, sales or support. Straight through to a human.
Connection is solid.

Each person you refer you get 50p off your bill. In theory you could refer 30 people and get a free bill...
Like I said - nbolton.plus.net
Lucky you Neil, I've just saved you 50p a month
Let's hope they're as good as people say!
And if anyone wants to save me some cash, my id is mattdearden.plus.net
