The NE ones should at some point (being a year newer) , the originals probably not.

My partner's NE didn't get Android 11

She did get a whole world of problems with apps closing though - Uninstall Android Webview if you've got that problem...

EE have just been in touch to tell me I can upgrade my P30, I can't believe it's been 2 years already.

I have the 512GB "Amber Sunrise", I would have loved to stick with Huawei as I'm using a lot of their other kit and linking it with the phone but sadly I'm also reliant on a lot of Google stuff.

SIM only and hope the Google and Huawei stuff gets sorted or time to look elsewhere?

To be fair the P30 Pro hasn't really left me wanting for anything, it'll just the first time in many years I haven't been counting down the days because I have my eye on the next gadget of the moment.

I can't really see anything else I fancy.

Maybe I'll just hang on to it, anyone else in the same boat?

Has anyone had any issues with WiFi? Having s recent issue (past 2 weeks) where my WiFi connection drops and reconnects repeatedly. Have tested on 2 networks (will do more) and can't figure out if its the phone or not. TIA

My WiFi is fine, it keeps losing the phone signal and every time I go on the O2 website, it says a mast near me is down. It's happening a couple of times a week. Time for O2 to pull their finger out and fix it properly.

My phone signal in the house is awful and wifi calling isn't reliable - And I'm on O2. Their signal is good, but if it isn't 4/5 bars, they're hopeless...

No issue with my WiFi except at work, however work WiFi is rubbish!

Happy to get security updates but not so keen on them forcing the app stuff.

Edit: the update installed but there's no sign of any of the apps stuff it mentioned.

Anyone interested in the HarmonyOS instead of Android? P30 pro users can install it, it's starting to be rolled out this month. Videos I've seen show it to boot up faster than Android. I don't know if you can install Google apps on it though.

I believe it's optional, reading the facts and figures it's looking like it's going to be the biggest OS on the planet. That's due to Chinese users, all the Chinese phone manufacturers are looking at installing it on their phones.
