Obviously it goes without saying that if you don't claim the cashback it gets very expensive... I think they rely on a certain amount of people forgetting

Tried to buy it.

It wont let me keep my current number. I guess I'll have to do it and get a new number. And then go to a 3 shop and get them to switch my old number over.

Similar to you I think.

There's also a free smart watch to be claimed at the moment.

Amazing deal.

Request your PAC from 3, get a payg sim from another network, transfer your PAC to the payg, make a call / send a text from the payg SIM then request your PAC.

Go buy the P30 deal and give them the PAC as supplied by the payg provider - job done.

You've now got the P30 deal and your own number smile

Camera is pretty good

Moon, handheld (hence the lack of sharpness)

I didn't realise before I switched that you can only use a PAC code when you change network which is why I had issues. When I rang them up to argue my case they were very reasonable though - I've always thought their customer service is great

Also I've been a big fan of "stock" Android since I switched from Apple but as much as I hate to admit it I actually think Huawei's version of Android (EMUI) is actually better than stock...

That's good to hear because EMUI is supposedly the weak point of the phone.

I've gone for the P30 rather than the pro and after coming from an iphone 8, it is definitely a step forward. Have a spigen case on it.

New P30 Pro Aurora. More data, minutes and texts than I'll ever need. Android 10. Huawei smart watch thrown in. £26 a month.

Couple of days in and it's a great phone.

Well pleased.

Mobile phones direct? I actually ended up taking the similar O2 deal for £1 a month more because I got a crap reception on my previous 3 phone. No such issues with O2.

You'll get a more meaningful response if you state where you are and the areas you most commonly spend time in.

I'm taking this to the extreme but e.g someone saying 3 is brilliant when they're in Lerwick and you're in London, isn't gonna be much use.

This ..... at home and at work 3 reception is excellent, so I went with them as that's obviously where I spend most of my time. Used to be black spots where I had no reception on my travels, Cornwall being one, which I wasn't too upset about, as a peaceful break is nice, but found last summer I had decent reception there too, so the coverage is expanding all the time.

I find them pretty crap to be honest. In London they have some major black spots which have been there for years and nothing seems to change. They are cheap for a reason.

Very wise. I've had better reception everywhere I've been (London, Essex, Cambridge) than I did on 3.
