They work very well so long as you are down range and you keep the antennas pointed towards the drone. They are not so good for close in flying so if you are flying close just leave them off.
No affiliation just a happy customer.

That's a shame!
I imagine you've just given a lot of folks an idea..
My mate and his Mrs fancied a bit of midnight delight on their hotel balcony. Unfortunately they realised too late that the door had no handle on the outside and of course their PJs were insideI imagine you've just given a lot of folks an idea..
You'd have thought once bitten, twice shy........but they did it again the next year!

My understanding that we UK customers have 2.4 and 5.8 signals that automatically switch over depending on signal strength? They work very well so long as you are down range and you keep the antennas pointed towards the drone. So which antenna would be best to go for?

Mini 2 Ocusync will dynamically swap channels in flight unless you manually lock it down

Can anyone tell me if Mini 1 batteries are compatible with mini 2? I'd like to upgrade considering the freedoms you get with the new rules, and if I could keep my batteries and charger that would be a big incentive.
Yes, Mini 1 batteries fit and work in the Mini 2 BUT they are heavier and take it over the 250g limitThisInJapanese said:

Late to the party and just got one of these at the weekend now the price has dropped with the release of the Mini 2.
Properly impressed with the whole package.
Really stable flight even in the wind and at height, faster than I expected and delivers some really quality looking video and pictures with close to zero practice.
Photography experience does come in handy with composition and settings though.
Still worry when I take it really high and/or far away that it won't be coming back or it will just stop and come down like a meteor..!
Price has dropped you say? Where did you get one from and what did you pay if you don't mind me asking... Properly impressed with the whole package.

For what it is I am pretty happy with the 1 I would prob not upgrade to the 2 for now as I dont see the need for long range on such a small drone but that said if I did not have a 1 I would defo get the 2.

Anyone ordered anything from DJI recently?
I ordered a Mini 2 Combo on the 15th and had no update on expected delivery, just an email from DHL on the 16th to say they received the package.
Any idea how long i'll be waiting?
I think they ship from Eindhoven in the Netherlands, so it could be a while depending on customsI ordered a Mini 2 Combo on the 15th and had no update on expected delivery, just an email from DHL on the 16th to say they received the package.

Dispatched from mainland China apparently. So expecting delivery to take as long as it would posty to walk from China to my house..
I ordered an FPV Remote Controller from them and it arrived in 4 days

How are you finding the FPV?
It looks entirely mental but has too many downsides at the moment to warrant the breakneck speeds
I've not gone for the new DJI FPV - I picked up a set of the V1 goggles fairly cheap, bought the Remote controller from DJI, and bought an iFlight Titan DC2 droneIt looks entirely mental but has too many downsides at the moment to warrant the breakneck speeds
First flight yesterday wasn't in ideal conditions - a bit breezy for a sub-250g drone, but I managed a couple of flights without smashing it to bits.
First flight was a bit bumpy to start with...
