Managed to get a £12/month rolling 30 day deal with Virgin with 5000 mins and 25gb data (which has unused data rollover). Not bad I think.

According to the MSE email this morning, Three are now doing 8gig plus unlimited minutes and texts for £8 a month which is 4 times what Giffgaff do for the same price. You do need to sign a 12 month contract and presumably pass a credit check.

There is also an MSE deal for unlimited everything at £16 a month, again on Three but that involves a whopping 24 month contract!

Don’t go for Three... just moved the families phones over... no signal in house, in office and very little in between. I live in London.

Oh and to add they have a SMS issue at the moment which shows all my messages as undelivered however they do get sent. Also my banks OTP codes are not being processed by Three and are blocked. They have been working on the issue for a while... workaround is to get another phone and different sim! international calls on Three £1.75/min... Giffgaff was pennies. I’m in the process of returning 2xiPhone 11’s and an iPhone 8 Contract and resurrecting giffgaff with offline phones purchased on giffgaff store

It's always wise to get a sim and test it works well for you in the places you need it most before committing .

I’m with Three and never had such a problem. There’s something wrong there, have you asked them?

Three offer the best deals for travelling. I get to use my phone and data for no extra charge in many countries including USA, Australia, New Zealand and others.

Smarty £10 for 30GB including Tethering and you get money back for unused data.

I've just signed up for a 12 month Vodafone SIM only, 60GB for £20 per month with 5G included. There is a choice of £114 cashback by redemption or £90 automatically making it either £9.50 or £12.50 per month.

Moved from three to smarty (despite being the same company three wouldn’t match the £10 for 30gb deal); very unimpressed so far.
Reception is considerably poorer than 3 as is data connection speeds including in major cities.

Been told they use three’s spare capacity and if the capacity is near full smarty goes to the back of the queue.

Smarty don't get access to VoLTE or WiFi calling, both of which are rather helpful if you are in areas of poor coverage.

I' ve just moved to Three because they do WiFi calling, which is a must where I live. I nearly took a Smarty sim deal before realising them and few of the other cheaper providers don't offer it.

I've had no issues, I moved from Three to EE ages ago because Three signal was terrible at home, then EE became terrible at work.

Smarty works at both for me, only compromise so far has been no WIFI access on the underground.
