Heads up - the Hero Black edition back in stock at Overclockers today, I've just [PH mode] PULLED THE TRIGGER [/PH mode].
You won't be disappointed!

Blue Oval84 - see if you can swap!!

Eeek. Tempted.

But then I did something else impulsive since I bought my chair... Booked the Volvo in for it's service and accidentally [PH mode] PULLED THE TRIGGER [/PH mode] laugh on a Polestar performance upgrade for the car at £495. Buyers remorse set in basically immediately after I said yes and whilst I could cancel it, apparently you get a proper Polestar badge for the boot lid. A bloody badge! A proper Polestar one and everything!

On the basis that the Nitro is genuinely meant to be the same as the Noble Epic, and is half the price of the Hero, I think I'm going to have to lie in the bed I have made for myself!
Meh, why not both..? biggrin

I've just seen you're only 15 mins up the road from me - if it weren't for Covid-19 bks you'd be welcome to a test sit!
Can you do that via Zoom - you get to have a nice cup of tea and a sit down....oh....yes.....there's a flaw there somewhere isn't there...... biggrin
A plan with no drawb.... d'oh!

laugh

Thanks for that, I've ordered. Long old wait (mid July) but I've been on about getting one for years now so another month won't hurt.

Anyone liking more information when preparing to make expensive purchases may appreciate this new review of the Titan from an XL perspective.

I went for the XL and don’t regret it (1.9m and 106kg though)

Another plot twist! I just popped onto Gumtree to see what I should put my old chair up for when the new one arrives, and low and behold, someone is selling an (allegedly) 5 week old Hero just a couple of miles from me.

I've offered £150 and am awaiting a response, may end up in a Hero yet!

Not the Black Edition sadly, but at another £65 saving over the Nitroconcepts fabric model I'm prepared to accept PU Leather, if it's good enough for our Tesla at work...

OK, turned out there was no plot twist as the guy didn't reply.

My Nitro Concepts has arrived today and I LOVE it. Solid as a rock, firm upholstery but not too firm, and certainly better than the squidgy rubbish in my cheap Amazon job. Having the backrest come up to the top of my head is awesome too, this thing is so much more comfortable than my regular office chair which probably cost twice as much. It goes so upright that I can keep my posture superb as well.

For £214 I'm seriously impressed.

I may even buy an extra one for the office if I ever have to go back! laugh

Very nice! I'd strongly recommend something like THIS to protect your carpet though!

I jumped on this bandwagon this week, noticed that Noble had the Epic in stock in black PU with red stitching, didn't look too garish so I did a buy. Arrived on Tuesday and was assembled in no time. I have noticed a slight issue with alignment in that the backrest doesn't sit perfectly aligned with the base, so with my back square in the backrest my legs are rotated slightly. It is annoying as I always feel like I'm not sitting quite straight and while it was the cheapest chair they offer it's still a chunk of change so I've emailed to ask if they can sort it out, but no reply yet.

Anyway, cool story bro etc. but just wondered if anyone else had a Noble and had any sort of quality issue, if so how did they get on with the customer service?

After reading this thread, I ordered the SL Omega a few weeks back and it just arrived today (well ahead of the stated delivery time) .

I was mightily impressed with the packaging. This is a lovely touch.

And the tool feels very well made.

The chair itself? just WOW! So well built and finished and it is a heavy beast!

been using it a few hours and loving it so far, I have discarded the bolster cushion though.

Damn it, i have spun that picture round and it keeps posting it sideways!

Feels odd replying to my own post in a thread but just in case this helps anyone else... After two unanswered emails to Noble Chairs I got a response via Facebook. They said this is a known issue and is to do with the backrest angle adjuster having a tight spring in it and being located on the right hand side, this pulls the backrest forward by up to 2cm, which sounds logical enough to me. They told me they're waiting on a fix from the factory, expected in 1-3 months and they will replace whatever part needs replacing FOC when available.

Still a bit disappointing really given the cost, I can't imagine it needs much other than an alteration to the simple hinged bracket on the other side but hopefully they come good. Otherwise the chair is comfy, sturdy and seems well put-together.

Possibly a bit OTT for me, but they certainly come up with some great designs.

Am 3 months in with my Titan now, and can confirm it just gets better the longer you have it. Seat base has some useful give in it now without getting squishy, I've got it adjusted just so and the Cookies and Cream upholstery is holding up well. I keep meaning to go and work in a different room of the house for a change in scenery, then I realise I won't have my chair, so haven;t managed it yet smile
