Yes.

No av other than windows.

Is it worth turning them off and seeing what happens?

(Though think you noted it was running OK now?).

Can't figure out how to change what page opens with a new tab though. I don't want Bing!
Have a look here under 'Add your own URL'
Lovely job - thank you (looks like I'd already installed it for Chrome use, just needed to enable it).

Not going to help red_slr, but have now installed New Edge on my Android phone and my Mac and it's working really well. As I can sync bookmarks etc, I think it may become my browser of choice.

Cheers for that link. Been wondering how to get rid of Bing in a new tab.

My PC has just updated itself after offering the new Edge for a week or so, and being ignored. So far (20 minutes in) the only thing I've noticed is that the favourites are both better and worse at the same time. Better because I can now distinguish between six favourites on the same site (the old version truncated the right-hand side of the title which only left me with the web site name, and hovering didn't help), worse because when I open a favourites folder, it doesn't stay open.

I've just tried that on mine. Works fine. Click the folder again and it closes.
