Thanks for everyone's advice on the iPhone 12 Mini.
I ordered one (Black 256GB) which is arriving today.
Also changed my old sim only 30d deal which was costing me £25pm(!) to the o2 10GB deal for £8pm. Bargain.
I have the 12 Mini. Love it, no problems at all. I’d have liked the superior camera in the larger iPhone but being able to keep the phone in a secure pocket is important to me.I ordered one (Black 256GB) which is arriving today.

Think I’ve mentioned it before but iPhone 12 mini says have not been good.
“iPhone 12 mini demand has been so lackluster that Apple even asked some suppliers to temporarily stop building components specifically for the 5.4-inch device, according to Nikkei Asia. Some of the components and parts for the iPhone 12 mini have been reallocated to the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max, a source told the publication.”

Shame, I love my 12 mini. It does everything I want and fits neatly into my pocket.“iPhone 12 mini demand has been so lackluster that Apple even asked some suppliers to temporarily stop building components specifically for the 5.4-inch device, according to Nikkei Asia. You still get to keep your mini! They're not asking for them all back Perfect size for me too and works as well/better than the X it replaced.

My girlfriend got a 12 mini last week. I agree it is a really nice size (same as her old 6S, just with a bigger screen) and packs a punch in a tiny device. A little small for me.
A real shame they appear to not have been selling well and are actually on offer at many retailers at the moment - or at least were when she ordered it. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't bother with a 13 mini and just kept selling the 12 for a couple more years.
I reckon the replacement will be a folding phone so it’ll be smaller in the pocket but open to a larger screen. Sounds good to me but for the moment I love my 12 mini.A real shame they appear to not have been selling well and are actually on offer at many retailers at the moment - or at least were when she ordered it. 2021 does sound like it is going to be more of an "S" release.
DPD man should be here soon! Does anybody know of a good guide for switching from an "old" iPhone (with TouchID) to the "modern" style with FaceID and no home button?
What guide do you need? It just works, very easy to follow the instructions which will be there on the iPhone.DPD man should be here soon! Does anybody know of a good guide for switching from an "old" iPhone (with TouchID) to the "modern" style with FaceID and no home button?

It’s so you can unlock phone and use it etc. when wearing a mask.
Obv for making payments, yes, just use the watch anyway.
Maybe I’m being thick here. Are you saying that if I’m wearing my Apple watch my iPhone will unlock automatically even if I’m wearing a mask?Obv for making payments, yes, just use the watch anyway.

You need to enable in the FaceID settings. And have latest iOS/WatchOS.
And have a passcode set up on your watch …craigjm said:

You can do it with an app called Rev Recorder but you shouldnt unless you make the caller aware they are being recorded
I just took a look at that app, looks like it doesn’t record calls.https://www.rev.com/callrecorder
