Be honest you have small hands. I can properly use my Max one handed and I too can touch to top right icon with one hand.
I wanted the mini as it fits into my button down shirt pocket so less likely to be stolen.

Back on topic.

My 12 Mini is ready for yet another software update to IOS 14.4. Anyone know what’s in the update?

Thanks for everyone's advice on the iPhone 12 Mini.

I ordered one (Black 256GB) which is arriving today.

Also changed my old sim only 30d deal which was costing me £25pm(!) to the o2 10GB deal for £8pm. Bargain.
I have the 12 Mini. Love it, no problems at all. I’d have liked the superior camera in the larger iPhone but being able to keep the phone in a secure pocket is important to me.

Think I’ve mentioned it before but iPhone 12 mini says have not been good.

“iPhone 12 mini demand has been so lackluster that Apple even asked some suppliers to temporarily stop building components specifically for the 5.4-inch device, according to Nikkei Asia. Some of the components and parts for the iPhone 12 mini have been reallocated to the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max, a source told the publication.”

Shame, I love my 12 mini. It does everything I want and fits neatly into my pocket.

You still get to keep your mini! They're not asking for them all back biggrin

Perfect size for me too and works as well/better than the X it replaced.
I’d just like Apple to continue with that size phone.

Will 100% be pre-ordering the 13 as soon as I can, have been waiting months for it now, managed to stretch my iPhone 8 out for years.
I reckon you’re jumping the gun there. Won’t be until the autumn.

My girlfriend got a 12 mini last week. I agree it is a really nice size (same as her old 6S, just with a bigger screen) and packs a punch in a tiny device. A little small for me.

A real shame they appear to not have been selling well and are actually on offer at many retailers at the moment - or at least were when she ordered it. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't bother with a 13 mini and just kept selling the 12 for a couple more years.
I reckon the replacement will be a folding phone so it’ll be smaller in the pocket but open to a larger screen. Sounds good to me but for the moment I love my 12 mini.

My 12 Mini is arriving tomorrow. I had been hoping to get a 13 Mini in the autumn, but my iPhone 7 had a tumble this morning and the screen shattered.
Lucky you for avoiding unlucky 13. I wonder if Apple will name the next one 13 or move onto another system?

2021 does sound like it is going to be more of an "S" release.

DPD man should be here soon! Does anybody know of a good guide for switching from an "old" iPhone (with TouchID) to the "modern" style with FaceID and no home button?
What guide do you need? It just works, very easy to follow the instructions which will be there on the iPhone.

It’s so you can unlock phone and use it etc. when wearing a mask.

Obv for making payments, yes, just use the watch anyway.
Maybe I’m being thick here. Are you saying that if I’m wearing my Apple watch my iPhone will unlock automatically even if I’m wearing a mask?

Yes, you have to look at it, so combination of seeing your eyes and having watch on will unlock it.
Just tried that. It doesn’t work me Mrs BC or I. frown

You can do it with an app called Rev Recorder but you shouldnt unless you make the caller aware they are being recorded
I just took a look at that app, looks like it doesn’t record calls.

Just tried and it's not available in UK app store.
Maybe because of the privacy laws in europe. I must have been on my VPN when i looked
Yes, that works. I turned on my VPN so it looked like I was in the USA then I could download the phone call recorder. I deleted it again as didn’t want to subscribe.
