Billing address and delivery address must match, therefore making it really difficult to obtain 2 for yourself.

As said,

A unique email / payment card / (matching) delivery address / IP for each order. So currently no, you would not be allowed a 3080 should one drop.

Surely it'll be lifted on 3090's soon though!

Unless I missed something, although the kitchen was fully rendered, he was only rendered on the bit where he went all holodeck? And that looked like it was rendered on a Riva128, just terrible. And the audio was out of sync.

Yup, very sure you're right on that. You can see when they switch to the rendered kitchen due to the appearance of the Lego model in the butter tray in the background. Like you said, it was far from impressive.

Whats the score with these ebay adverts?

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/185016652337?hash=item2...redfaceTgAAOSw7RdhJqVA

Looks cheapish but not too goo to be true, member since 2005 but absolutely zero feedback and the only other thing he has for sale is a hello kitty something or other.

Are you just buying an empty box? Everything looks dodgy on Ebay regarding these cards, you would think there would be photos of the open box and the card itself showing serial numbers and what not.

There were hundreds of adverts like this. People who all joined in the game of trying to get a card either initially for themselves and then realising how valuable it was and could be sold on, or purposefully joined in hunting one down to get it and sell it.

That advert looked fine to me.

Cheers

They don't have zero feedback, they have feedback 59 but it's an old account and only 1 negative feedback in recent times - Read feedback here.

There's a big trade in old eBay accounts with positive feedback that have had the credentials stolen. Part of the reason for the switch in how you get paid earlier in the year was to try and make it harder for people to pull thus kind of scam as the eBay account is directly linked to the bank account for sellers.

My word that feedback from the last month sums it all up. Dodgy. Good spot.

I'm sure that negative feedback wasn't there last night. It just showed all zeros for everything, I had had a couple of drinks though. So the moral is never buy anything when you are a bit tipsy.

It is nigh on impossible to get any sort of decent card at the minute though, they are going back up in value not down, I knew that package deal with the power supply the other week was half decent, should have got that.

I've had an alert set up on 3060ti's for a few months now. The last few weeks I'm getting regular messages to say they're in stock, mainly Novatech and overclockers.

They've still been massively overpriced IMO but today overclockers have them down to £560. Still about £150 - £200 overpriced I think but I have a 1660 super to sell on and they still seem to be fetching silly money so cost to change could be acceptable. But then the way prices are dropping, and the fact is I don't actually need a card, I can't bring myself to hit the buy button.

At least it's a sign things are improving

Subscribe on the Telegram channel that was shared earlier in this thread. Had the notifications through this morning and I could get one in my cart fairly easily (I got a 3090 from them a couple of months ago so was only doing this out of interest to see what demand was like now).

To be honest in the time it would've taken to write and post the comment it would've gone out of stock. These cards stick around for a minute tops, less for the highly prized mid-tier ones like the 3070/3080 and Ti variants.

Nice to be considerate though.

I got one over a month ago following a post on here, as I'd turned off all my alerts months ago after I decided an RRP 3070 would do for now.

I didn't even go to the site for a couple of hours and they were still available.
