Good point, the bidding does look pretty ridiculous

Correct. I sold my Oculus Rift CV1 for £500 in early lockdown. The only thing was the winner had used a bridal shop in Bedford as his joey address.

Once I'd applied the appropriate filters, it eventually went for its market value (back then - initial covid meltdown) of £300.

Stick on the filters to get rid of the muppets.

So this turned up today:

Much shorter than my current card. So with a bit of luck the board won’t extend past it and I won’t have to get the dremel out when my card finally does arrive.

Mind you vertical mounting does look good scratchchin

I'll probably get it in my current build temporarily just to give it a test drive
Nice biggrin I picked my Gigabyte 3090 Gaming OC up a few weeks ago now from Scan, was on pre order, came in 2 days after the release, its a bit of an improvement on my 1080Ti for doing everything biggrin

Nice, from Scan? They seem to be the only place shipping them out. Fair play to them, they did jack the prices over MSRP but at least they stopped preorders and are actually delivering.

Apparently Scan are the official partner for FE cards in the UK. They were briefly selling them today at around 1pm, for about 5 minutes. Nvidia now links to them when the Buy Now button is available.

Naturally a few have appeared on eBay already.

Damm. Wish I’d placed an order with Scan now.

Tried playing the new CoD beta last night at 3840x1600 and my poor 9 series was screaming. Still no further news from overclockers or ebuyer!

Edited to add, stock updates from Overclockers are here: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/forums/threads/ocuk...

No, it was from Alza.co.uk. Ordered last week.

£520 on OCUK. Ridiculous. AMD for me again...

OCUK has always been a rip off for anything.

OK this is just a whinge. But what a totally crappy way of showing a very simple FPS comparison. 12 minutes of tedium and stty music, or randomly scanning through hoping to find something interesting, versus a table that gives you everything at a glance.

Still, gotta get those eyeball minutes I guess.

I posted all 3070 reviews by upload date so I have no idea what you are talking about since there are dozens of videos all changing order as new ones are listed.

Ah ok. I just watched the first one. Which was literally just a set of FPS results displayed one at a time. Totally not a dig at you!

How long did it take the card to arrive? I bagged a 3080 from Alza last week, due for delivery today but latest tracking still showing it somewhere in the Czech Republic. Half worried that what will arrive will be simply a box with a house brick inside.

If not, happy days, I can cancel my other pre-orders.

Big navi is out tomorrow then 3070 on Thursday!!

I'm torn. I really fancy one of this generation of GPU. I'd always intended on getting a 3070 at launch but the leaked info about the RX 6800XT so far has really grabbed my attention. If the numbers leaked are to be believed then it could easily compete with the 3080 at a 3070 price point.
