I fall into the bracket of could wait but bored.
I'm 100% not going to have buyers remorse. I'm buying a card for £500 with the performance of the last generations £1200 flagship.
Pretty much the same, i technically do require an upgrade, as my card simply wont work with ray tracing on, but it still plays not too old games at 40+fps on ultra on ultrawide 1440p.I'm 100% not going to have buyers remorse. However the state of the build up and lack of stock 9which depending on what you read could last till early next year)
Apart from CP 2077 and couple of other games coming in 2022 for PC i dont have a burning need to upgrade the PC, and the wife said i can get a PS5 if i want, though as its in the lounge it wont get used much, as it takes over abit, and the spare telly is only a 24" 1080p, so bit rubbish in my work studio.
But tbh with all the crap i think ill enjoy the 4k blu ray upgrade and backwards compatibility of my ps4 games(many of which i haven't even loaded up yet (only got the PS4 Pro for free with a new phone last xmas)
The more i think about it, id be better with a ps5 (when in stock) then upgrade once the hype has died down and all reviews are out for the various cards.
I've had some absolutely dire service from Overclockers recently, they used to be great, but I'm about done with them. I also don't agree with how they keep taking money for pre-orders despite having zero stock. There's literally 1500+ people in the queue for a single AIB card...
Anyway, all my business will be going to Scan now. Do you know if their shop is still open?

OCUK have been a rip off for years.Anyway, all my business will be going to Scan now. Do you know if their shop is still open?
They mentioned on the forum that they are intentionally just leaving all cards as "pre-order" regardless if they are due stock or not, So you would have no idea if the card you are ordering is in stock or you are going to be waiting for months. But OCUK will take your money from day 1.

At least you could usually get next day delivery on that niche part that you need, even if you did pay a little more for it. Sadly, doesn't seem the case anymore. Agree about the cards, I think it's fairly disgusting business practice, good for their bank account though!
That's pretty poor, they shouldn't be charging customer cards until the parts are ready to go. Hopefully the fact that Scan have charged mine means they haven't oversold on the FE cards...
I was a bit dismayed when I ordered a Noble chair via the Noble website and the UK reseller turned out to be OCUK. Having said that, I've had problems with the chair since day one, Noble were useless at sorting it out but so far OCUK have been much more helpful. I'm expecting an entire new chair to be delivered soon.
