Asus tablet not charging
Discussion
I have stupidly left an Asus t100 chi tablet for 4 months and it's discharged its battery completely due to lack of use.
Now it will not take a charge at all.
Anyone know of a fix, it's handy for setting up the lpg system on the range rover and thats why I have originally bought the thing.

Well after more research (Google) appears it can only be resolved by disconnection and reconnection of the battery, unfortunately its built into the tablet, only way to access is screen removal, so Sunday I'm going to have a bash, it's either going to be a broken screen (most likely) or success (very doubtful)
Just in case you haven't found this already:

I had to something similar with a Samsung Tablet, getting the right tools makes life a lot easier.
Search Amazon for "Spudger"

An update is warrented, left the thing on charge for 2 days on a low power charger as suggested on some forums, and now it's starting to take a charge again, so back on the Asus high speed charger, Crisis averted....
So if anyone has the same issue, charge it for 2 or 3 days on a minimal output charger and it may come good in time, don't be hasty to call it a day....
