Is there a Push Button in the Hole?
Can you get a clearer Pic?
Looks like a push button at 12 o’clock in the hole, partially obscured under the cover. Perhaps it was hinged in some way. That said, I’d be getting something pointy (knife, compass, pencil) .. and carefully pressing that. Can you get a clearer Pic?
Why is it superglued, and what happened to the on button?

It's a long shot but do you know the MAC address of the Ethernet port? If so you could try connecting it to your router with an Ethernet cable and sending a Wake-On-LAN packet to it from another device, and hope WOL is enabled in the BIOS.
What a great idea.. but.. not known It's all my fault..
I think too many months of home school abuse on the lid, which went floppy. It was still useable, but then the back corners of the PC itself started to open up a LOT when the screen was opened, revealing all the PC insides. Now the small screws underneath would only spin - not tighten. It got so bad that as a last ditch attempt to keep it alive (which we really needed for home-school) I superglued the worst corner, which I was delighted with (I know I'm killing the future of the PC by now of course...but desperate times...)
After a few days the other corner was still really suffering in the same way.. so out came the glue . This is where I royally effed up - turning the laptop upside-side to glue, the glue must have ran through the depth of the PC and fixed the power button in its off position. Awesome.
Trying to resolve I applied a few ml of Acetone around the power button. For a while the PC powered up + I did the usual daily bloody Win 10 massive update, but then it wouldnt. Trying to free up the button, I cracked it, so out it popped and here we are
