Losing wireless connection

Hi all and Happy New Year,

Ok, I have an IBM Thinkpad R50P with Centrino, problem is that everytime i connect to the internet through wireless i lose the connection/signal after 3 minutes exactly (i've timed it!). I've tried this at a hotel and at work and it happens in both places.
Any thoughts welcome,

Sounds like your power save mode is turning off the wireless card. Have a look in control panel you will have a power icon , click it and have a look through the settings betcha one of them is set to 3 minutes...

Try banging the latest drivers + wireless ProSet on from support.intel.com, it made the connection much more stable on a couple of machines I tried it on.
