Sure , but the software will all have been designed for keyboard/mouse work not a tablet, usability is the key which is why a PDA/sartphone with purpose made software will get more productivity in the same situation.

Hmmm - my HP work tablet PC has 10.5 hrs of battery life with normal + wireless + 3G usage (HP Compaq tc4200 Tablet PC) so not sure what's the issue with battery life...
