My work are currently recommeding training as I believe the budget might go down change next year.

I work as a configuration and deployment engineer, which involves taking the j2ee software our developers write and deploying it to a number of clustered environments running a java application server on Windows Server 2000/2003. It's not particularly advanced stuff so I could make this an opportunity to give myself more knowledge and expand on my Computer Systems Engineering masters Degree. I think I could do with some, since I found myself looking up 'application server' on wikipedia.com the other day!

I'm not sure what direction I want to head from here so suggestions are welcomed, but development doesn't really interest me. Some training that could help me whatever direction I decided to take would be good - so something that's not too specific and as useful as possible with a wide scope.

A course on general Windows Server knowledge and understanding "what it's all about" perhaps? I can't find any though. All the Microsoft courses I've seen are rather specific like "Administering users and groups in windows 2003" and so on.

Thanks for any help!
