Register1 Question

Probably for Jamie, but someone else may know.

I have a domain name with 123reg. A year ago, i added hosting to the domain name, the hosting expires on the 17th Jan, and the domain expires on 2nd Feb. I want to renew the domain name, but is there a way of transferring it to my register1 account, as I have now replaced the 123reg hosting with register1?

If this is possible, i also have a couple of other domain names (forwarding only) that i'd like to move over.

Sure

just go to www.Register1.net

Type the domain name in to the search box, and opt to 'transfer' the domain.

once transferred you can either get a VDS for it, or, use the free forwarding to point it at existing folder / subdomain on an existing VDS.

I used to be .... but I quit. He never paid me my annual salary of a pint of the black stuff at BT&P. Although that was my own fault. I forgot to collect. So I quit in embarassment

As for that other matter - the answer is yes - but I've got a minor issue - not sure how I can overcome it. I'll email you tomorrow about it.
