WMP Unstable...

Finally got round to installing SP2 for XP a couple of weeks ago, which sorted some Issues I was having with my computer, mainly on the internet.

Now, however, Windows Media Player has become extremely unstable. It wont play anything for longer than a minute without crashing. DVDs, Music, nothing.

Its WMP 10, which downloaded and installed at the same time as SP2.

Any ideas anyone?

Try a 3rd party media player like VLC, if that doesn't work i would suggest you have a problem with your hardware.

WMP is now up to version 11. Try an update to see if it does anything.

From time to time WMP runs at doble speed with no sound on my PC. A reboot usually cures it. Anything I can do to fix it?.
