Can someone recommend a webmail service to me that is reliable enough to use for business purposes? My current webmail service (another.com) is dead with no information. About as useful as the well-known chocolate fireguard.

btw does anyone else use another.com here?

Do you mean commercial provision of service, or running the service on your own equipment?

If you fork out for a basic domain, you can link it to google apps ( www.google.com/a/ ) to send & receive email from your domain.

We use it for our company & it's not let us down yet. I know a couple of consultancy firms with 250+ staff that use it for email & calendaring too so it must be reasonably robust.

Yeah the googlemail branded solution.

Theres also shareable office apps which can be handy, calendars and the like.

Another vote for Googlemail here. I use Google mail for most of my domains. No problems at all.

Highly recommended

I would recomend http://domains.live.com run by MS cost is free, you can create loads of email addresses, has great spam filtering and antivirus, and you can use it as your messenger account smile

I also recommend Gmail, I've been using it for around 3 years now and set up some family members and PH'ers with accounts back when invites were needed.

You can chat through it as well, connect it through Outlook, your Mobile, it has 2882 megabytes of storage for every account (and growing), so big in fact that I'm using this software:

...to get some online storage with my account. It comes in handy when I travel for job interviews as it allows me access to back ups of my Resume', school transcripts, etc. should I need them. I just have to check my Email and they are there, pretty handy.
