Dell Vostro

I need a new PC at home, just general stuff, ripping the odd dvd, a little photoshop etc.

I was thinking that the new dell vostro range looked like good value..

anyone care to comment?

Just bought one as a replacement for my workstation at work. Seems fine so far, although it's only been a week. Build quality is standard Dell, so pretty good. It's a decent spec (Core2Duo 2.4Ghz, 2Gb RAM etc etc), running Vista Business, and it was a good price as well. Came with a 19" widescreen (which I didn't need, but couldn't take off - I suppose you might be able to if you actually called them?). At least Dells still come with proper O/S discs, unlike HP's where you have to burn your own. So far then, thumbs up!
