BLOODY BLUETOOTH DONGLE !!

afternoon, bought a bluetooth dongle on ebay a few days ago and it arrived today
only problem is i cant seem to find it ...
i have a 6300 and anytime i search bluetooth, it cant find any devices
i've been through the (very short) installation process but not a lot happens
any ideas ?

Have you tried using the computer to search for your phone?
Is the computer set to be 'discoverable'?
What software are you using, Microsoft or the Nokia suite?

What make is the dongle?

Vista has a bit of an issue with bluetooth if it isn't MS's own dongle....

Also, most dongles on Ebay don't have toe latest version of BlueSoleil (very widespread BT software suite) which is Vista compatible. You may have to search round for it.
