Sharing a 3G connection over wifi?

Does anyone know of a phone which can share its 3G data connection over wifi, for other hardware to connect to?
I'm coming up for a change of phone/contract, and it strikes me it would be useful to have this, allowing occasional laptop browsing anywhere, without the hassle of a 3G datacard...

Why would you not do it over Bluetooth ? In WM6 that works very easily.
It is possible to do it over a phones Wifi with a Wifi Adhoc network, but think it will need some fiddling to get ICS to talk to the wifi instead of BT.

Just pick a WM6, HSDPA, Wifi enabled phone, and away you go.
