It won't automatically calculate MPG from a mileage and litres of fuel input, then display a graph with your economy over time, average running costs etc. etc. will it?A calculator will do a lot of the ones I have seen brandished about, the fuel one, the restaurant bill one to name but 2.
This free app does. Simple.

Anythgin about that allows me to use music that i have on the phone as a ringtone?
Dan
No need for an app !Dan
You can have quite a hoot with this (if you're a twonk like me) by chopping out your favorite intro/guitar solo or whatever and setting it up as a ringtone
Oh, and also iFitness...great if your a gym goer, especially if you like to keep a log of what weights your lifting...logging side of it is superb and very easy to flick through previous routines, see if your making progess.
Also has a large list of exercises arranged by body part, gives you a photo + written description of how to perform and exactly what muscles your using.

My favourite is an MPG calculator called AccuFuel. Simply input miles, litres of fuel, price (if you want to), and it calculates current and average MPGs, with little graphs and stuff. Very east to input when you're standing at the pump, and easy to switch between my 3 cars...
There are many things in this world i really don't want to know and MPG is one of themScuttleRX said:
Peggle...had it on the PC first but it works really well on the iphone, amazingly addictive game!
[Bill & Ted Stylee] No Way !!?! [/Bill & Ted Stylee]The misses has Peggle on her DS and it is actually one of the most addictive games i've ever played... i had a hunt around the app store for peggle on the iphone a while back but could only find a version that worked with the iPod Touch but not the iPhone...
Tell me there is now a version that is iPhone friendly!!?

Nicely done, my other half is officially a Peggle Grand Master... although she still hates the fact that on a few of the levels my high scores still sit proud at the top like a big fat blot on her records! muwahaha

Ah, well played! I fear im always going to be one challenge away from Grand Master status, even with the decathalon challenge out of the way, as I have thus far come nowhere near the 750,000 points required for the '750,000 in one level' challenge.Out of interest does anyone know why some apps are iphone/ipod only...I was under the impression the touch and the phone were exactly the same except the touch had no phone gubbins, or camera.
An innovative brain puzzle for those of you that like brain puzzles. It's very spatial rather than some logic puzzles can be.
It also has a rather decent ambient electronica soundtrack so it you like that st (like I do) then buy it.
It's called 'The Plateau' and defies description - think of a cat's cradle with balls connected to other balls by wires. You start off with the balls in random locations, and the wires thus crossing over each other. The trick is to move all the balls such that there are no crossing wires. Really easy to get playing, hard when made complex.
It was meant to be 59p when I was recommended it, it's now £2.95 for some reason (perhaps they pump up the prices for me because I don't buy many apps?).
Bloody good game though.

Sweet Jesus.
I'm serious anti-Apple, I hate the I-Pod hype, I hate it as a bit of technology and I don't particularly like Apple as a company either...
but
The g'f got a new I-Phone on contract with O2 and it is flipping amazing, i'm completely sold! Genius piece of kit and some of the apps are amazing and we've barely just scratched the surface!
