Palm Pre if WebOS 1.4 (due out soon) sorts out the battery life issues. I've had one since November and can't fault it for performance or usability since WebOS 1.3.5.2 came out - apart from battery life.
1.4 is also going to enable Video Recording/editing on the device and include Flash Player.

I was playing with my mates HD2 last night its really quite a piece of kit. He tells me its getting Android in a couple of months. I think I am going to hold out for that.
The only way an HD2 is going to get Android is when the guys over at XDA Developers port it, and even then it's going to be a bit clumsy. They've ported Android to the Diamond and a number of things don't work - camera and GPS to name two.Gibby78 said:
if the X10 is anything like my X1, run as fast as you can in the opposite direction, I'm on my 4th now and even with only 2 hours use (relegated to 2nd phone) its still not right, SE have gone right down the pan recently.
My next move will probably be to the Nexus One or wait to see what Apple do with the next iphone.
It appears the X10 only shares the X and the 1 with the X1 - looks to be a completely different design (touch screen only, no keyboard_ and using a different OS (Android rather than WM). I guess Xperia is just being applied to the smartphone range from Sony Ericsson. It seems the X10 is so called to distance it from the X1 and X2.My next move will probably be to the Nexus One or wait to see what Apple do with the next iphone.

If you can wait a couple of months there's the HTC Bravo to consider. It's basically the Nexus One but with HTC Sense (like you get on the Hero and HTC's Windows devices) on it.
Orange are aparrently getting it at the end of March. I don't know if/when it will appear on other networks though.
It's also got multi-touch which the Nexus ridiculously hasn't.Orange are aparrently getting it at the end of March. I don't know if/when it will appear on other networks though.

I'm in the same boat and had been waiting for the Xperia X10. Given the usual SE delays and the fact that, when it is released, it will be running an out of date OS, I've now moved on to the Bravo.
