The home page on my internet browser keeps defaulting to something called LuckySearch.net which is annoying. I have gone into internet options and changed it back to the correct page (PH ) and cleared cookies but it keeps changing it back to LuckySearch.net. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Paul

Download Ad Aware from www.lavasoft.de

You have picked up a little application that starts with Windows and sets your homepage to LuckySearch.net

Ad aware will find it and kill it.

Second that, I had a similar thing.

Rather silly thing for 'spyware' to do really!

I downloaded ad aware and have run it twice. I also cleared out my cache including cookies.

The bloody same thing still keeps happening though.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Try the CWS Shredder tool at:

www.merijn.org/cwschronicles.html

It fixed a similar problem for me.

Site seems to be down at the moment tho'

I had a similar problem which AdAware fixed until I rebooted.

There is another product, spybot, I think which solved my problem
