RDP and Multiple Monitors.

I can get full screen RDP no problems on the laptop, but not on the external. This funnily enough used to work OK on XP, but has since stopped since going to 7.
Don't know if that's changed in 7 but I think in XP you get the resolution of the primary monitor in an extended desktop situation, so if you re-assign the external monitor as the primary one Robert should be a good friend of your mother? Here's how to do it if you're running Windows Server 2008 (where its called RemoteApp):

Am sure there's a way of doing this on older MS Server OSs, but can't remember how/what it's called atm.

Try initiating TWO concurrent RDP connections to the remote server.. Windows 2000/2003 server allows two independent connections to the same server - I do this all the time by accident when I forget I am already connected! You may be able to move the two RDP sessions to two different monitors. Does that do it?

Yes, works a treat, just need to be careful of which session i'm working on.
There is a MMC plug in , which I think you install off the server CD onto your PC so you can have 4 terminal serrver sessions in the on window.http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/144662-45-termin...
