I like how it's been excluded from the search suggestions has no ratings and no reported downloads, they really don't want to help people find it if they don't already know do they!

I think thats the norm for all apps in the first day or so, because yesterday afternoon the newly launched BBC News app didnt show up in a search and didnt have any reviews either, then when I looked yesterday evening it came up in a search and had 400+ reviews, so I suspect it takes a few hours for reviews to be checked and posted, and the search engine to be updated.

Doubtful, but possible. In that case i'll just return it for a refund.

Doubtful, but possible. In that case i'll just return it for a refund.

You won't get a free case and a refund. There's a big difference between "letting you fill in a form in an app to apply for a free case" and "checking your Apple account, seeing that we've already given you a refund on one and writing off your application with those of all the other chancers"

DO you have an old iphone?
If so back it up and transfer all your purchases to itunes (right click the iphone icon) and then when you get your new one restore it from that backup

It's clever because it logs your IMEI so no need for receipts or anything and unless you can figure out how to change the phones IMEI it's also impossible to cheat.

DO you have an old iphone?
If so back it up and transfer all your purchases to itunes (right click the iphone icon) and then when you get your new one restore it from that backup

Cheers - yes I do, done that and will do with the new one.

Not really worried about purchases - just contacts and the PITA it would be to replicate manually!!!

I ordered my bumper on Friday I think with an expected 3-5 week wait but I had an email yesterday saying it had been dispatched.

Not planning on actually using it though.

Did anyone read the small print on the bumper order page? What happens if Apple release a new hardware version that fixes the signal issue in a couple of months? Will early Iphone4 owners be able to swap to the updated version?

Just read it, but there's no mention of what would happen in the event of a future hardware release to correct the issue. Not hugely surprising though as to do so would be to admit that there is a problem, something they've so far not done.
