Been on Jellybean for a couple of months now - via Cyanogen, very stable and very good.
My plan if they don't come through.Though I'm in no hurry, I love my S2 like it is and never had any problems on the stock version. I do use another launcher though, as TW reminds me of my iPhone.
And that's not a good thing .

Like I said, it's deffo my plan for future releases, I've got a feeling the S2 will be community-backed for some time to come. Not had a problem at all
You have to be able to get past the unsupported features though, I really like the MHL output (use it on vacation everytime), but AFAIK it'll never work on CM.
Some other issues I find:
- Audio: not all features implemented yet (?)
- USB: slow ums transfer speed
- Camera: recording effects broken
- FM Radio: unsupported, will probably never be
- TV Out: unsupported, will never work (proprietary, undocumented)

Audio is fine, everything works. USB whatever you said, never noticed. FM radio, good point, not really a problem though as I never use it. Or the TV thingy.
Like I said, if you don't use them all the better but my wife uses the FM, and I use the TV so that would be a bit of a setback for both of us . Just to make people aware that these issues are there.Richyvrlimited said:

Can you explain the TV thing? Never understood what it did.
Plug your phone into an HDMI port on your telly and watch a film from it on the big screen.Tycho said:
In work we have Bravia TVs and if you plug in your S2 to the HDMI input via an MHL lead you can control the phone through the TV remote. It is fairly basic i.e. cursor control, select and back keys but it it useful if you are watching a movie and need to pause etc. Your TV needs MHL-CEC functionality but I think most recent ones will have this.
Will need to test this this evening! Update: Plugged in my phone today, opened Kies and got an update message
5 minutes later and I'm running 4.1. Initially don't notice that much difference, UI looks a bit "fresher". The screen when you're calling is completely revamped apparently and some other stuff, new homescreen with widgets possible,...

I stripped mine down when mine went through water damage, don't remember it being worse than any other phone to do, ended up putting it back together and paid £100 for supply & fit from a local phone place (in Stoke) and they lent me a Nokia for the day so didn't seem worth trying to do it myself.
You stripped it down or you replaced the screen? IIRC the screen replacement isn't that easy (need a hairdryer to loosen the glue).I had it done by a shop.

I've got a glitch on my SII this morning.
At the very top of the screen are a series of very small numbers, P: dX, dY, etc, which change when I move my finger around the screen, and there is a thin trace where my finger has been, and a pair of cross hairs and a target where my finger is.
I'm guessing it's an app that has updated automatically?
Tried turning it off and back on again, removing the battery etc. but the problem remains.
Any ideas?
Sounds like some sort of calibration/settings tool that tracks touch movement. Probably a rogue app, can you look in your task manager which apps are open, close them 1 by 1 to find the culprit .At the very top of the screen are a series of very small numbers, P: dX, dY, etc, which change when I move my finger around the screen, and there is a thin trace where my finger has been, and a pair of cross hairs and a target where my finger is.
