Thread resurrection chaps...

My battery is now worn out after over 1,000 recharge cycles and I'm after opinions on what the best replacement battery is...so...any suggestions?

All advice gratefully received.
See if you can still get the 2000mAh official samsung battery. Gets a nice back cover and lasts a couple hours longer than the one delivered with the phone.

I've been offered a Galaxy S4 by a guy at work. Its BNIB and he wants 375 with some cover. I'm happy enough with my S2 but I have had it for a while now and thinking maybe its time to upgrade. Has anyone else made the switch? IS=s it just newer and quicker?
The display is on another level altogether. Speed is also a lot better.
But, the S2 is still a great phone, and the form factor of the S4 might not be to everyone's liking.

The smartcover (if that's the one) on the S4 is a great piece of kit imho.

My lad is thinking about getting an S2.
Are they ok generally?
They are very good phones! Though can I ask what the price is?
The are getting on a bit now, so the price should be rather low tbh.

Well I just changed mine for an S4... I was pretty happy with my S2 so seemed a good choice!

So guess I'll un-bookmark this thread now!
It's the logical choice, the screen on it's own is worth the upgrade!

They are quite different in size though, got a picture of my own:
LTR: HTC One V, S2, Oppo Find 5 (S4 size), Nexus 7

We've got two, one has been decommissioned by the sister in law, and only because she got a new phone from work (boss was probably feeling sorry for her).
The other one is a play thing for the kids.

Both of them still work fine.

I do agree with the "first smartphone that got everything right". It's a tight race between the iPhone 4 and the SGS2. Although personally I think the screen on the older smartphones was just too small.
