I see the after market people are now offering an upgrade from 184Bhp to 250bhp & 300Nm to 400Nm for £250.00
Has anyone had this done or is to early for these cars to be done yet?

C200' are only 138bhp 243ft/lb torque standard, the most we've had out of one is 172.6bhp 287ft/lb torque they normally average around the 170bhp mark. If you'd liketo know more message me.

The W205 C200 petrol is 184hp / 300Nm as standard.

I think it's somewhat of a sweet spot in the range.

0-60 in the 7s, combined mpg of 53.3 (not real world I know), nearly 2 grand cheaper than the entry level C200 diesel (and 100kg lighter to help the handling) and it doesn't rattle like a can of nails...

Not the W205 surely? Book figures from Mercedes' own site states 184HP..

Can't help with the remp question, but Avis upgraded me to a '15 plate C200 at Glasgow airport this weekend. Surprisingly it was a manual, but even more surprising was the fact it had 184bhp. It felt quite brisk, but I hadn't guessed it was that powerful! Though it does explain why it felt as quick as it did!

I did 300 miles in it; Glasgow to Dundee via Loch Lomund (well, I was passing and it was a lovely day on Sunday) then back to Edinburgh, interspersed with some shorter city runs. It averaged 47mpg on the outward journey (if tthe OBC is to be believed) and 39 on the return, which was pretty much all dual carriageway at a cruise controlled 76mph. A calculated fuel consumption when I refilled it came to 44 mpg - pretty impressive I thought!

The car was pretty basic spec though, and the plastic seats lacked lumbar and thigh support. I guess, if it's like the W204, closing a 'spirt' variant would address that. More toys and leather would have vastly impoved it. But if I was given one as a company car I'd be pretty pleased

Where did you see this remap? Elite? I ordered a box from DTUK but they mistakenly didn't have the correct wiring loom etc. not sure whether to persevere.

Keep us posted if you do get it done. Bought my OH an Estate which is a great car but could definitely benefit from a bit more power!
