Did you guys see the opening of the Ch4 British Grand prix programme today with DC racing a green GT R around Silverstone with Mark Webber in a 911. Nice bit of product placement for Mercedes.

The car advertised at 240 K on auto trader has now been reduced to 199 k .
But you can ignore that - as it is not a physical car and given they are pre-selling something they don't have, they probably won't even get the car from MB.

Snapped this outside Brooklands yesterday. Was nice to see the GT C in the flesh.

Nice 5 star review of the GTR today in Autoexpress. I think it's a revamped review but who cares it reads well!

Thanks to the driver of the green AMG GT R for a most comical sprint along the A4 this morning. From the R8 with the grin behind you.

Quick question to those that have been in one, whats the interior space /legoom & headroom like in these cars?..at 6'5" with a 36" inside leg, thought Id ask before considering one first off!
fit fine in Ferrari 458/488 & Porsche GT3 etc, but lambo's are a no no,Audi R8 a bit tight too...so how does the AMG GT compare ?
thanks

I am surprised that this hasn't sold as yet bearing in mind the waiting list and no guarantee those on the waiting list will get one. The price doesn't look that it is much of a premium once the options have been factored in !

Did anyone else notice a black GTR flash up for sale recently in the classifieds?

It was a private sale and asking price was 200k, anyone know if it sold?

Drive one 2 weeks ago and was well impressed with the noise and go although it's not in the league of a 458 from my perspective. But it's a genuine different option from an r8 and 911. Well done mercedes as the gearbox was a massive step up from even a 2 year old sl63

Interesting comment, its much faster and better screwed together than a 458. Lacks the drama I guess?

I'm enjoying mine smile

Loving the insane exhaust note & agreed the gearbox is impressive. Not as good as my 488 gearbox but nevertheless it's a great piece of kit. I like the 4 wheel steer too.

The car gets a lot of attention when out & about. Yes well done Mercedes on producing a fine machine!
