Anyone else pre ordered the new AMG GTR?

Collected mine this Saturday just in time to take it to Brackley for Merc F1 Factorty tour.
Was delighted to come out to find 3 F1 engineers nosying around it!
Really pleased with it, noise and grip are insane.
Surprisingly comfortable and docile on Motorway.
Looks even better in flesh than photos.
Running in carefully, but want to take it to Spa next Spring

Had mine half the Summer, done some miles but not as many as I'd have liked... fantastic car, the theatre is compelling for me in as much as you don't need to drive at license losing speeds to have a bit of fun with this car - and what a noise it makes.
The Traction control is really very clever when you get to play with it although there isn't really any reason you should need to use it on road.

Glad you're enjoying yours
I've done 900 miles in mine since picking it up on the 2nd Sept. absolutely loving it!
Tried launch control a couple of times. Quite a bit of wheel spin but she holds the line well.
Was at a Supercar meet yesterday & fellow Supercar owners were very impressed with the AMG GTR, incl those owning the new Porsche GT3 Gen.2, 675LT, Huracan Performante, Ferrari etc.
In my opinion that edition 50 model is £110,000 over priced. Agreed the GTR is the model to have
Pic of my GTR next to a friends matte silver one that he collected 10 days ago

Surprised you're using launch control when its not even run in.
I have my second trackday in a GTR (first in my car) tomorrow, enjoying the car but there are lots of niggles that MB need to sort out if its to be taken seriously as a track car.
GVE are a bunch of chancers with that 50th

Only recently tried launch & obviously back off so as not to red line it. Was struggling with traction on those Cup 2 tyres when doing a standing start next to a Porsche RS 4.0.
Interesting hearing a salesman tell my friend that putting it Sport+ doesn't affect the traction control as from my experience it's def more tail happy in S+ on damp roads when pulling away not even at a fast pace. The traction control does its job well though.
