Mercedes c200 sport AMG - traction light

Thought I'd put something on here about an issue I had a few months ago - I tried searching forums to see if anyone had a similar issue but couldn't see any - so hope this helps
A few months ago my traction light came on the dash and the car went into limp mode. I called the AA when I'd finished my journey but they couldn't find what the issue was. So took it to mercedes in Tunbridge. They ran the car through diagnostics and said that it had re-set itself (cost £72). I picked up the car, drove it 2 miles down the road and the light came on and it went back into limp mode. I then called mercedes the next day, they asked me to bring the car back in and after further inspection and (£156) they said it was the SAM unit which would cost £1300 to fix - I declined, picked up the car and booked it into a Mercedes specialist in Uxbridge (Trident) for a service B and to see if they could find the issue without mentioning that mercedes had advised that it was the SAM unit. Trident called me and said I had an issue with one of the injector units (2). They advised the cost (£400) and although not convinced that this would fix the issue I proceeded to get it fixed .....
Well, after picking up the car 2 weeks ago it runs perfect ... So massive thanks to Trident in Uxbridge and as for mercedes in tonbridge, I think they should pay me the £72 + £152 back for a complete waste of time and money for an incorrect diagnosis not to mention that it could have been another £1300 for a SAM unit
