No badges here, That's a good thrash down some B roads home from work.

But just shows people these are NOT cheap to run, They are not cheap to service, And breaks pass etc are expensive.

To get less than half of the official urban fuel consumption figure is definitely some thrashing!

Honestly: If you are doing anything other then driving in Comfort with hardly any throttle imput expect 20mpg as the figures given are complete garbage.

I would guess its worse on GLC or GLA as they are heavier.

Thats not dressing it up that is literally as it is.

Have you considered the Shooting Brake? I have one and love it, apparently softer in suspension to the A45 as it’s aimed more at the family man- I chose it partly because I have two dogs, I love the shape even if I felt a bit old getting an estate aged 31 but I also preferred it to most A45s out there (my ideal would be green with aero but that was it out of budget).
I’m really glad of the boot space & had the whole thing filled with people and luggage quite a lot since I’ve had it.
It’s a beast on the road and rapid on track although heavy on brakes! I get 22mpg average, worst is about 7-8 on track and 13/14 hooning.
Might be worth considering...

My GLA is showing 29.4 over 10k miles. Very little stop/start traffic in that and quite a lot of quiet A/B road in the 10s of miles at a non-hoon rate of progress.

My old girl wanted to change her mini clubman JCW as she wanted an auto and something a bit higher to get in, she is in her early 60's, and not much over 5ft, so I convinced her she didn't need a big SUV, as she used to struggle getting in and out of my dad's GLE.

She saw a GLA 45 in black at our local Merc dealer, and once I knew she liked it I convinced her to get one! Sadly that one she saw had sold, shame as it was stunning in black.

I eventually found a white one with 1k miles on it, very good spec with the aero pack and most importantly for us the 360 cam which I just could not find specced on any for sale. Sadly it doesn't have the front diff option nor the adaptive suspension, but same applies with every other for sale in the country at the time, could not find it on any others.

Apart from them 2 minor things it does have everything else we wanted, I'm in love with the sport seats and the camera which shows the wheels/kerb when parking is awesome.

I'm wishing one day she will swap me it for my golf R smile
