SLK350 what are they like ?

Airscarf is such a wonderful feature. I'm shocked no other manufacturers offer something similar, assuming they don't?

My V5 shows the cc as 3200, yet the car is designated SLK 350 , why ? It's here in Ireland so a very slightly market, it has an SLK rear badge from the factory but is not AMG, just appears to be what in Ireland was an SMG pack, AMG wheels and interior.

Lookinng forward to driving it after Weds, road tax here in Ireland is UK £2000 pa.

MB naming, SLK 280/300 have a 3.0l engine, 350 should have a 3,498cc engine. The SLK320, R170 had a 3.2l engine, but that was replaced by the SLK250 in 2004.

Update, my 350 CLK arrived, and my mistake, it's 3500cc in the log book not 3200 as I stated. It has an air scarf.

Any advice re updating the stereo/radio for one that looks standard but has Sat Nav/ Phone/blu tooth. The present radio is the MB Audio 20.

What year is it?

You can add the NTG2.5 comand pretty easily, if your Audio 20 is colour screen it is a straight swap, but buy one from ebay where the vin has been reset, otherwise you will get a security message and need it all coding.

I've been away for a month and left the SLK with a local mechanic to service etc. ( It's a 2005 car). He found a missfire at revs at times , indicated Cylinder number 6 and replaced the coil pack and the injector but to no real avail. The CEl light comes on at times, , I should add he replaced all plugs as part of the service. Car is 7 Speed Automatic.

Thanks for the reply., I was away again and took it to a guy in Dublin Sean O Connor which cured. He enrichened the mixture.
