Hi guys,

Looked through the forums but couldn't find what I was looking for.

I'm in the process of moving over to MB and I have a C63s (A205) cabriolet in mind. I've had the visual tour from the dealership and had a chat with the sales rep who came out to see me. I'm impressed by the exterior of the car, and most of the interior. However, I thought the satnav seemed outdated. It looks like an afterthought that's just been stuck there. It's got an inch around the edge which has no use so it looks very poor in comparison to rival cars.

I just want to know a couple of things. Those of you that have the new C-class, what is the satnav to live with on a daily basis? Does it look old fashioned and kind of disappointing in appearance? Is the interface smooth between changes, and is it easy to use? (I'm coming from a 2012 BMW M3 coupe so I'm used to the iDrive, even though it has several unnecessary steps and functions). And finally, what's your opinion that MB might change the satnav in the future? If it's likely, might it be worth the wait for the upgraded/facelift model?

I'm happy with the looks and performance stats of the car, but will get a better feel of it after the test drive I have booked on Saturday. Hopefully I can get to play around with the satnav for a while.

Any help and advice will be much appreciated.

Mine has been a bit weird on certain routes. It's not the best but certainly not the worst. If I had the choice again I'd go for the car play option so I could just use the phone (waze) on the head unit directly.

Edit: hmm, it seems this model doesn't have car play.
