Finally got it home after the joys of the M25 being stuffed up for an hour forcing us to do some “off roading” around Gerard’s Cross….
If anyone is looking for truly amazing customer service if you’re looking for a Mercedes call George Hood at Exeter. Nothing has been too much trouble for him and his colleague's, from collecting us from the train station in a lovely S Class, to arranging for overnight accommodation and collecting us again this morning. The car had been professionally detailed for collection, absolutely zero hassles or hitches, a full tank of super to get us home and very satisfied customers!
A couple more pics before I squeezed it into the garage.
Looks great with all the cf in selenite T5, best I’ve seen a GTR look if I’m honest, that should be great company for a good while If anyone is looking for truly amazing customer service if you’re looking for a Mercedes call George Hood at Exeter. Problem with mine was the tacky green hell, really wore off..
GTR still can’t beat the rear of the GTC with roof down though, it’s mahoosively wide..
Great great cars, greats!

Thanks. It's pepper red and black. Had the same combo in my old selenite grey GTS.
How did you find the drive back? They are very easy to drive once you get used to the oil tanker like bonnet. Though do take it easy in this weather. Not sure what tyres you have but pilot sport 4s are the main choice.
There's a very active WhatsApp owners group if you fancy joining and are also not easily offended

The drive back was mainly motorway (apart from avoiding the blocked M25…) the car has a nearly new set of Pirelli Tyres which I know could be bettered with Pilot sports but I’ll have to trash these first 😊
The WhatsApp group sounds great, could you maybe pm me a way to join please?

Thanks Kerniki, I agree the rear of the GTC without the fixed spoiler is a thing of beauty, your car looks stunning in that picture!Problem with mine was the tacky green hell, really wore off..

as someone that grew up in the early 80’s anything car related with wide rear arches was drooled over, I couldn’t afford most of the contemporary suspects back then but did own a few Dimma bodied Peugeots

None of them did at tickover, even the early ones, if yours does it then you’ll find its been modified to do so, maybe before you purchased?
Nothing behaves any different with this gadget which is why i went for it over renntech etc where they have fobs etc, even mercedes cant detect any differences, incredibly easy to fit, plug n play and a ground needed, thats it.

Just checked. Stationary in D or P the exhaust valves definitely open when activated.Nothing behaves any different with this gadget which is why i went for it over renntech etc where they have fobs etc, even mercedes cant detect any differences, incredibly easy to fit, plug n play and a ground needed, thats it.

Dimma, remember them well i was rocking a B2000 convertible mini truck around that time but always loved a fat rump, the aforementioned Dimmas were a regular at shows and ‘sound off’ competitions i used to enter, i now own a renault 5 T2, always lusted for one & still adore its haunches.as someone that grew up in the early 80’s anything car related with wide rear arches was drooled over, I couldn’t afford most of the contemporary suspects back then but did own a few Dimma bodied Peugeots
The Renault 5 T2 is a stunning car and one I regret not buying when they were affordable…I’d love to see a picture
I had a lot of French hatches in the late 80’s/early 90’s including many Renault 5Gt Turbos and several Peugeot 205 1.9 GTI’s. I had a few 205’s with Turbo Technics engines including this one
