AMG GTR - Owners experiences

The GTR has been out for a year now and I am about to take delivery of mine shortly and it wouldl be interesting to know owners experiences:

- What mileage have you done
- What has been good
- What has not been so good
- What options did you go for that with hindsight you wouldn't have
- What options do you wish you had gone for that you didn't
- What if any faults have you had
- Anything else of interest
- With your experience of your GTR, would you buy a GTR Clubsport (depending on the spec, price and availability)

It’s a great car, you’ll love it! For me the ceramics are the most important aspect as steels are far too weak. Also buckets are more comfy and look better. Enjoy!!

Its fast
Cage is a joke
None
Cracked all 4 wheels, TPMS failure.
Its really bloody fast

I have a clubsport coming, clubsport fixes all the niggles with the GTR and weighs less.

Which wheels do you have, did MB replace them under warranty and how did they all crack - pot holes ?

RXC, fully warrantied.

I never found out if they were properly cracked or if it was just the paint. Dealer sent them to Germany and heard nothing more.

Heat was the issue.
