Not seen any other red ones on the road, so here goes - after a wash with GYEON Q2M Bathe+ followed by Q2M Wet Coat. Seriously impressed, considering I'm used to having to polish/wax.

Hi guys. First off, Thanks to the guy who posted the Pink Leasing a180d deal and created this thread - first lease and excited! I actually missed out on it initially but got offered a black one fir £212 after a cancellation. Mine is getting delivered on Tuesday.

Was also worried about lack of power and reduced features compared to the premium pack but comments (and pics) on here have me not caring about that anymore. The red and mountain grey look stunning. I have a few questions if anyone can help.

Can anyone reccomend a scratch and dent insurance product that is reasonably priced?

Are there any areas I need to pay particular attention to during delivery inspection?

Regarding servicing, I was quoted £274 for the first service. Does the car's service timer start from registration date? Mycarcheck says my car was registered on 30 March.
With that date in mind, approximately when does the service light light come on - at 11 months or at 12 months?
Does it matter if car is returned with service light but service not actually due yet?
Lastly, has anyone worked out what is cheaper? Return early payment or just pay for the service?

Thanks

Thanks. It's the 'free' non-metallic Jupiter red but I love the colour.

Thanks. Good that it gives you actual dates.

Does that mean if you returned the car 2 weeks early on 10 April 2020, you would not have to do a service as it is not due yet?

I actually thought it was metallic! Very nice. Going to look into that Gyeon cleaning gear.

Hope so!

Anyone know if that’s the case?

Where in the app is it showing you the date of service? Any chance of a screen shot as I can’t see it in mine?

Cheers

On the app homepage, scroll to the bottom, click 'Vehicle Service Dashboard'

or under the pic of your car, the round icons, scroll right, click 'See all' this gives you loads of info

Morning.

Long time lurker smile

Looking to get either the A-Class or the CLA Coupe for myself.

Was wondering how much does it cost to service a Mercedes if i dont opt for the Maintenance option through the dealer. ?

My 180d arrived this afternoon. Was a bit dirty (black shows everything!) as came from Newcastle on the back of a flatbed. I decided to go get a wash before passing by the local dealership for the to get Mercedes me activated. Whilst there, I was told about a free 1 year tidal music streaming offer that comes with the car. I see the offer when logged in but so far I have failed to activate it.

Also on the app all it says my service is due in 359 days and no other info rather than an actual date as stated by another forum member - I suspect he has the vehicle setup app which mercedes is trying to charge £29 for! . Seems theres lots of features in the app but most don't seem to work so probably require payment to activate.

Car looks very nice though.

“Free” as in you get the service for free, but you have to subscribe to the (expensive) Vodafone data plan in order to use it. You cannot use your own data.

Annual service, first one is £282 down here in a devon then I think they get more expensive from there!

Signed up for the 4 week free data trial from Vodafone. Still no joy.

Has anyone come across any good lease deals for the AMG A45 or indeed the new A35, my old ML is just about giving up the ghost and I may need to swap it shortly.

Many thanks

Phil

Hi Guys,

Long time lurker on the main leasing thread, been on holiday for a few weeks and gutted to have missed out on the A class deal!

Is there anything similar available?
