G Wagon (or Not)

Hi,

I've been a long time admire of the G Wagon, and I finally picked one up last week.

Can anyone recommend a good website or source for various parts? I would like to add the halo lights to it, as the previous owner didn't spec them?

A useless piece of information... I always referred to the G Wagon as being the G63, and not a standard G350d, however I have been corrected by many people since ownership that my G350d is still a G Wagon?

I would greatly appreciate if anyone could help with a website / source for the lights, and for the correct badge on the spare wheel cover. I don't intend on changing anything else on it.

I signed up to this a week ago, and STILL waiting to be verified... and there is no link or contact details on the forum.

I've probably joined 20+ different car forums over the last 20 years for various different cars I've owned, and I've never found it so difficult to join any forum. Is there a reason the top 3 G Wagon forums are so difficult to join? Am I missing something here? :-)

Check out MB parts for the wheel cover decal. Occasionally they are cheaper than eBay.

Yours is a rare colour. Was it the one from MB Bath?

I have a 28 year old petrol LWB. Planning to swap it for a younger model, so I'm browsing all the ads!

I'm based in Ireland so not the Bath ad.

On a side note, there has only been 2 x 350d G Wagon's for sale in Ireland in the last 12 months, plus they are twice the price in Ireland :-( A new G63 is nearly €400k in Ireland.

You don't realise how lucky you are in the UK :-)
