Would also like to have parking sensors fitted if that's possible?

The factory parking sensors are located in the painted rubber bump protectors. It may be possible to get new bump protectors that have the holes for parking sensors, but I suspect you'd need to paint the new bump protectors and no doubt they are only available from Merc and cost a fortune. I think factory ones will have a basic visual display for the front sensors in a hump on the top centre of the dash - I don't know where the visual indication is for the rear ones in a convertible - in my W203 coupe it is in the rear headlining and you see it by looking in the rear-view mirror. If you decide to replace the stereo, then some will provide visual indications for reversing cameras etc.
Went to a car audio specialists today and discussed different solutions for reversing aids...
Option 1 - Flush fit reversing sensors (colour coded) with audible beep £300
Option 2 - Reversing camera and Pioneer Apple Car Play DAB stereo £900
Option 3 - All the above £1,200
I think option 3 would be best so when reversing we see what is behind us, and hear audible beep for additional warning, and the Pioneer screen will allow connection with iPhone for Car Play so we get music, radio and satnav. But this costs almost as much as the car itself
