I'm seeing early 30s MPGs on the motorway. I think that's v reasonable given the performance.

Assuming the health check by Mercedes all goes well tomorrow and it should do as the car just had a fortune spent on it in servicing at a Merc specialist, it looks like I will be joining the club!

The test drive really opened my eyes as to the relentless power delivery of these things. I've already booked a road trip to France to celebrate...

I'd always recommend a Quaife ATB diff for the powerful RWD AMG's/Mercedes - fitted to both my V12 TT CL600's.

Joined the club!

first thing is to work out why the passenger seat massage function doesn't work. Lights blink on and then stay off.... air leak or bust fan? Will need to check and see if the dynamic bolsters work. And probably read the instructions!

Hi guys, all going well with the E63 and I'm still in awe of the effortless and relentless power delivery.

I've got a question re oil consumption though. My car is using around 1L of Mobil 1 0W-40 per 1,000/1,200 miles. I've checked online and the booklet and it appears that this is acceptable. It seems quite a lot to me though based on previous cars that I have owned. What are you experiences?

I have the same engine, although in a ML, sounds about right.

Mercedes all day every day. Had the M157 5.5 - brilliant engine, solid and didn’t throw any big bills.

I hear good feedback for the M177 4.0 too!
