Merc screens that are CarPlay compatible from the factory aren’t touch screen
So do you have to use the track pad?
Or the wheel thing.

and thats cheaper then i paid for it

works a treat - to switch from command to carplay you hold the star button for 3 secs and then it switches over

Did you install it yourself?

It's my first AMG, so really looking forward to see what it's like to live with.
NOT an AMG. laugh Its the same engine the came in the SL400

Doesn't have the 1 man 1 engine thing going on that true AMGs have.

Also they have HORRENDOUS "tyre skip" in the cold/winter on anything other than very expensive MO tyres. You'll think there's something actually wrong with the car as on full lock it feels like the front diff is locking the wheels. Same thing also affects GLC's

I think the OP deserves the truth before dropping a fair wedge on a car he probably will come to dislike. (If he's anything like a pretty sensible friend of mine who bought one a couple years back, and got rid within 6 months!)

My Mercedes does this when I reverse off the drive in the cold. It’s not a massive deal….

So based on what your friend told you, you are suggesting that someone else will dislike a car?

The crabbing is an issue in very cold conditions, I replaced the tyres and it’s remedied the problem. In fairness once the oil had warmed through it went away.
