At 100mph you can do a hell of a lot with the power, as these are really Autobahn cars then that is the perfect place for this engine.

that looks amazing...however, reminds me of a bruising experience at the hands of a CL63 AMG. was at some traffic lights about to enjoy the run up to m4 london bound at windsor. in the ferrari. guy in a 190E cosworth pulls up on inside....kids on board pointing at the fezza. driver winds down window..."mate, whenever you change gear your reverse light is coming on ..by the way nice car". i'm not to bothered , its italian and electrical glitches are its stock in trade. reply...nice car yourself, i've always wanted one of them...he floors it and i coudnt resist but give it full welly. much to everyone's delight the ferrari pulls strongly clear..and i am feeling good. ...until. thunder noise in right ear. big black thing comes shooting past. just about catch tail ......CL63.....reassuringly also AMG....a beastly car indeed.

Completely silly of course, especially at £150K when you consider what that can buy. I wonder what a 3 year old one with 40K on the clock will be worth? Ouch!

to be honest and not alot of you will agree but i think that it is rather pointless because the 63 amg model is likely to be alot cheaper ie 50k or so and the 65 isnt really going to be that much faster and also where can you use all that power anyway because there are scameras everywhere these days. i suppose you could take it along to a trackday but then again over 2 tonnes worth of car isnt going to handle like a little elise that cost 1/6 of the price personally i would buy a 63 and buy something small and light for the weekends like a caterham or an elise etc.

Great, yet another lardy Uberwagon with even more grunt.

When will Mercedes stop having a power war with themselves.

604BHP !!! How much of that power actually will get used? 300BHP before the traction control kicks in? 400 maybe?

Stupid car.

Well, I have to say,I have a lot more than 600bhp and more than 800fpt and I often use all
of it.yes.evil.smokin

I've never been a fan of big coupes like this, always thought they looked big and fat and not too sporty...however, I saw the new one, A V12 in black, at my local Merc dealership and it looks the business - Not sure I'd buy one even if I had the money - but it gets the thumbs up in the looks dept anyway

You might have a bit of trouble getting the kids and shopping in a 430.
