with my advert?

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/269673.htm

No, this isn't a blatant "ad for my ad" but since putting it in the classifieds 2 weeks ago, I haven't had ONE call or email. NOTHING! ZERO! ZIP!

Just want to know if there is something totally wrong with the ad, or is the market just on it's a7se?

Thanks.

I would change the pictures if I was you, probably a nice leafy/green setting would show the colour off best. Also the 'scribbling' on the number plate doesn't help with the look of the photo's.

It seems a great price to sell it quickly, the only negative may be with the spec and the lack of heated seats/air-scarf.

I'm suprised you haven't been offered more for this as a trade-in TBH.

My guess is that the market is on its knees at the moment. My wifes CLS 320CDI with nigh on perfect resale spec and (I think?) priced reasonably well compared to a dealer has managed one semi serious enquiry in 3 weeks, and that was via Autotrader. Never had it before, have sold Nobles,HSV'S, Voyagers,Mondeos privately via Pistonheads and Auto-Trader in the last 3 years or so and always to the first person who saw them, but this time there's been no viewers! Thankfully don't "need"to sell ( wife just wants more seats now, I don't even want to sell it!)so will wait and see. Good luck with your sale, sure it will go eventually.

It's late october, nearly November, so you're onto a hard sell from the beginning.

Any car will sell for the right price. Being critical, the miles are a little on the high side for an '05 and it's got a manual gearbox - not quite as popular as an auto for a MB. Pictures could be a bit better as said - nice leafy surroundings etc - also it's probably an illusion but the aerial looks wonky.

If you're desperate to sell, try a lower price and get it advertised everywhere - eBay, autotrader etc.

Best of luck.
